Vittalapuram Dharsan

With the grace of gurunathal we got bhagyam to visit mahabalipuram stalasayana perumal. No rush like anyother temple. We had nice dharshan of bhoothathalwar birth place. Then we thought of visiting Vittalapuram which is on the way to kalpakkam from mahabalipuram.This is located on the ECR, after Mahabalipuram, 2 km from Pudhupattinam. Built by the representative of the Vijayanagara King Krishna Dhevarayar (1507-1529), this is being maintained by Archeological Survey of India (ASI). Unlike the other Panduranan temples, 5 feet tall Vittal here is seen with Rukmani and Sathyabama. There is a separate shrine for Santhana lakshmi thayar as well. There are shrines for Srinivasa Perumal, Varadharaja Perumal, Ramanujar and Viswasenar.

With the grace of srisrianna(krishnapremi swamigal) this temple got renovated (Kumbabishekam) @ 05/09/2006. Deity name is Premika Vittalan.

Divyadesa Dharshanam -1

Each time i used to think of blogging my experience on each divyadesam visited. But somehow i forget/didnt get the opportunity.  But with grace of Gurunathal and Nithya Kalyana Perumal  just thought of sharing my anubhavam.

From my last line itself somebody should have guessed about which divyadesam am going to start. Yeap, none other than thiruvidanthai.

I never know it is very near from guduvanchery. am aware mahabalipuram is nearby, but never know thiruvidanthai is near to kelambakkam. One day while travelling towards office i saw one bus with thiruvidanthai board. Then i felt it should be somewhere nearby. Just googled and i found it is very near by. After googling Month ranaway still i havent visited. Asusual i need somebody to push me , basically am a lazy goose on weekends. Yea..my mom came and she pushed me for some visit to any divya desam. I told her about thiruvidanthai and she immediatley accepted. Yea she is ardent follower of varaha perumaal.

Our first visit/prathama dharshanam happened on 23/Feb/2014. 

We just went via kelambakkam /take a cut towards ECR road. This divya desam on ECR road itself while travelling towards mahabalipuram.

This temple is located around 38 Km South of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and around 16 Km North of Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, India (Mamallapuram) on East Coast Road (ECR).  Temple faces east direction towards Bay of Bengal.

Perumal Name (Utsavar): Sri Nithya Kalyana  Perumal

Moolavar:Sri Boodevi Sameda Sri Adi Varahar 

Thayaar: Sri Komalavalli Thayar

Apart from Nithya Kalyana Perumal and Thayar we can find sannidhis  for Sri Andal and shri Renganathaar.

Quite silent place, not like thriuvallikenni. On week ends quite rushy. It is parikara sthalam for people who are yet  to get married. Even though rushy.. queue moves  faster and you can have dharshan easily. NO ENTRÉE FEE or any special entrance.

Valmiki Ramayana Moola Parayana Recitation

Valmiki Ramayana Moola Parayana Recitation. I didn't find anyother moola parayanam recitaion apart from Shri RangaJi.

I bought the Parayananm /Moola Parayana Recitation CD's by RangaJi. Amazing recitation. No words to say.

Although this is not an review , but thought sharing some observation abt that CDs.

1) Total 11 CD's. Everything in MP3 format. Cost 1000 Rs.

2) All the Songs are stored as sarga. each sargam one file. very gud job they have done and i find it very comfortable. Wherever i need i can  stop with that sarga

3) Rangan Ji do have amazing voice and recited with very good ragas. If you can understand meaning all the ragas are very apt and he rings the scene in ur heart.

4) Yea if u just want to recite without any Bhava/any understanding Please DONT BUY. Thats my opinion. Only with understanding what this sarga meant for..you can feel the raaga and you will love it.

5) Also he recited pretty fast and am quite comfortable. Just FYI am not gud reader of sanskrit. I read slowly. But i can recite pretty much with rangan ji and am feeling comfortable.
